WORLDS COLLIDE now available!

Fingerstyle guitarist Kenn Fox is back with 13 new compositions in his latest release, "Worlds Collide."

Fox continues to expand the boundaries of modern guitar with an array of innovative and interesting guitar sounds. Worlds do collide, as Celtic ballads meet Eastern soundscapes, and melodies of many stylistic genres flow together to create instrumental magic.

This recording also features frequent accompaniments by fretless bassist  Dave Finley, as well as guest appearances by Jon Peik on banjo, Sam Ecoff on keyboards, and Mare Edstrom on Celtic flute. The Digipak cover features beautiful images by Latvian artist Ilga Reke Andersons.

Videos of solo performances of several tracks are available. See the Paramount Guitars site, or view the playlist from the Spiritone Records Channel of YouTube.  (More videos coming soon!)

Listener in Harlingen, Texas:

"I have been eagerly awaiting the release of Worlds Collide for several months since I have heard many of the songs as sound bite demos of the hand-made guitars that you offer for sale on Paramount Guitars, and also watched you perform some of them on your videos.  It was well worth the wait.  Simply stated, Worlds Collide is the latest in a long line of acoustic works of musical genius. Your unique playing style, alternate tunings, and heart-felt compositions have no equal on the acoustic music scene.
The production, arrangement, and sound quality are all top notch.  The guitars sound so warm and vivid, and full of exuberant life. Worlds Collide is aptly named as it represents an amalgam of different styles, themes, sounds, emotions, and feelings blended to perfection in this latest eclectic collection of songs. Worlds Collide clearly establishes you as the pre-eminent acoustic artist of this decade.
The songs are captivating and mesmerizing, taking one on introspective sojourns that find their way home to a magical kingdom of beauty and inner tranquility, channeled by reflective thoughts.  Every time I hear Worlds Collide, I want to go back to that wonderful place again and again for inspiration and revitalization.
This album, like all of its predecessors, is an album featuring songs and not techniques or chops. The brilliance of the playing precision and dexterity shine through without any unneeded emphasis. The accompanying instruments on some songs (Celtic flute, bass, banjo, and keyboards) beautifully enhance the musice when used. The guest artists are superb, with special kudos to fretless bass guitarist Dave Finley who blew me away. Not many artists can consistently produce music of this caliber. I don’t know how you do it, but please don’t ever stop."
