FRIENDS OF SPIRITONE RECORDS

| INDEPENDENT ARTISTS/CDs WE RECOMMEND |
|
|
Tim has had remarkable success with his live
performance career around Wisconsin and beyond, and has produced
five of his own band albums, playing many of the instruments, singing,
recording, and writing the songs. This is his debut solo release, and
we're proud to offer it here in our independent "Friends" catalog. Tim has also sung background vocals on the last
four of Mare's albums, and he and his bass prodigy brother, Tom (co-member with
Tim of the bands American Pie, Green Flash Society, and Hello Hello) were
students of Kenn Fox for many years.

|
Venerable underground psych-garage master Simon Stokes first appeared with Spiritone as the sillouette on the cover of the latest Wisconsin Collections release, One on One (2003). His track "Truth is Stranger than Fiction,"
though actually a poignant love song, defined the tone of the entire recording, which was released in the early stages of the Iraq war. His
connection to Spiritone and Wisconsin came via his close association with Todd Westover of Toothpick Elbow.
